A Mark Knopfler Take on The Kinks "Strangers"

Lesson description: The Kinks' Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One is easily one of my favorite records. There's something about the the heavy contributions from Dave Davies that is so special--the sincerity of his voice, quite different from his brother's more wry and clever timbre.

There's a bunch of great tracks on that album, but this one just slays me every time. I'm also on a bit of a Mark Knopfler jag lately, so it was a fun exercise to imagine maybe what he'd do with this classic track.
