Lesson description: This is something I observe Mr. Betts do rather often. It's a neat little 6 note grouping against 4/4 time that creates a powerful push and pull with the rhythm section.
What I find particularly useful is that once you see the pattern, you can adapt it to any key or genre. It's a great way to generate musical friction during a solo without being too shreddy.
