Lesson description: From time to time, us guitar players may need to pick up the bass. Maybe we're at home working on a demo, or at rehearsal and the usual bass player is too hungover to make it.
Bass is still a guitar, so we should be able to play it, right?
Yes and no: it's true the strings are tuned to the same notes as our familiar guitar, just an octave lower. But, the way we play it is very different than what we do with guitar. The main thing is we want to be decisive and rhythmic--things that guitar players are not typically the best at!
