Lesson description:I call these things "Hendrix Doublestops," but really they're simply pentatonic fills that move with the chord structure. I use Major Pentatonic for any Major Chord, and Minor Pentatonic for any Minor Chord. This way, I don't need to worry about modes or specific chord scales. To test how adaptive this way of playing can be, I put the idea to the changes of the classic song "Mack The Knife."
It came out pretty well!
