Lesson description: This piece proved to be a very interesting challenge. The goal was to combine John's vocal melody, chords, and background counterpoint, and to fill in the gaps with pentatonic doublestops. It's really like a game of chess with yourself: "If I move here, the melody goes there. If I move there, the fills respond here."
