Lesson description: The aim of this lesson was to focus on one-octave arpeggios, chords, and complementary scale structures to play to a spooky, Latin-style ii V7 i progression. Creativity crept in, and I found myself grabbing other Marc Ribot licks from my bag of tricks to fill out the solo: diminished substitutions, chromatic 3rds, and skronky "falling down the stairs" licks. I hope you dig it!
