Lesson description: I recently discovered Michael Kiwanuka via this track, which HBO's "Big Little Lies" uses during the opening credits. That dude (and his band) is so good! To my ears, there's a great combination of Curtis Mayfield plus Pink Floyd, all done with a modern sense of creativity & unpredictability. Yay! New Music!

I spend so much of my time listening to old music--hunting down records I may have missed, or didn't get into when I was younger. I get really excited when I find a current artist that clearly shares the same classic sensibilities, but is taking things forward, evolving the ideas and making them relevant for new generations.
