Lesson description: One of my favorite genres of music is quasi-obscure 60s psyche-rock. Love are a great band--waaaaaay ahead of their time--blending elements of garage rock, folk, blues, jazz, and orchestral pop. There's a tension behind the music too, something about frontman Arthur Lee's contempt for society, or his place in it. You can really feel the unhinged nature of his mind come through.
