Try This Twisty, Jangly Minor Scale Pattern

Lesson description: This is a neat combination of a B minor scale played in a sequence of thirds, mixed in with a Bm - Em6 groove. Working on scale patterns can be boring, so I shoehorn in some chord stabs to break up the mechanical motion.

If you're not familiar with the sequence of thirds pattern, welcome! Basically, what you've got here is a first note - third note - second note - fourth note - third note - fifth note sort of thing. Works really well in all complete major and minor modes.

*I wouldn't bother trying this with pentatonics though--not enough notes to make it function in those scenarios!*
