When to Switch From Pentatonic to Harmonic Minor

Lesson description: To be honest, 90% of what I do is CAGED shapes with pentatonic fills. I swear, I can say just about anything I need to say with those primal ingredients.

However, there are times when a spicier scale is appropriate. When playing in a minor key that has the major V (five) chord, alarms should go off and bells should ring: "....NOW IS TIME FOR HARMONIC MINOR!"

This whole solo, which is basically over the changes to Bob Dylan's "One More Cup Of Coffee," is a laid-back, slow-poke demonstration of this type of transitioning.
